The EC-Link and EC4 media converters support the IP endpoints of the CLEER or EC10 switch. Furthermore, the EC-Link media converter can easily be used as an Ethernet extension, with an EC-Link at the base unit and another media converter - either another EC-Link or an EC4 at the other end. If required, the media converters can be supplied with power locally to feed the IEEE-compliant IP endpoints accordingly.
