The SmartCell communication card for GSM and Ethernet is an optional extension for the SmartCell fire alarm system. It enables a wide range of flexibility and security, including the ability to remotely configure systems and a variety of remote diagnostics options. Alarms, faults and messages can be forwarded via a GSM or Ethernet connection using SMS and email notifications. This simplifies maintenance and service costs, saves time and can be used for maintenance reminders and planning of maintenance and service operations as well as for pre-planning. The communication card is always supplied with a SIM card that has a pre-configured unique key to connect to the SmartCell service via a secure connection.
