Paxton P-Series readers are ideal for Switch2 and Net2 installations.
The readers are now equipped with Genuine HID Technology™ and can read HID™ 125 kHz proximity transponders when licensed with an activation card. If required, a separate activation card for a Wiegand output can be used to activate the readers.
Installation
The reader connection cable is connected to the door control unit according to the color marking to ensure easy installation and accurate performance.
Operation
A transponder is held in the read distance range, which is read by the door control unit. If the transponder is recognized as authorized, the green LED lights up and access is granted. The red LED flashes and access is denied if the transponder is invalid.
