The Net2 RS232/485 interface converter is connected to the COM port of the PC (RS232) and connects the Net2 data line to the PC. The interface converter is supplied with a black plastic housing and an integrated 12 V DC power supply unit.
The USB interface converter is also supplied in a black plastic housing and does not require a power supply.
Installation
The plastic housing is suitable for wall mounting. 455-477A cable for the 220 V AC power supply and a serial data cable are supplied. After connecting the device to the RS485 data line, connect it to the serial port of the server PC and switch on the server. The door control units are detected automatically.
A USB cable is supplied. After you have connected the device to the RS485 data line, connect it to a USB port on the server PC and the door control units will be detected automatically. Please ask the support team for compatible Net2 versions.
