AJAX MotionProtect Curtain: wireless curtain detector with double PIR sensor
The AJAX MotionProtect Curtain is a compact yet powerful wireless motion detector for indoor and outdoor installation. With its infrared sensors, the curtain detector protects window fronts, entrances, patio doors, garage doors, house walls and facades. Indoors, it protects separate areas, such as paintings or display cases in museums.
AJAX MotionProtect Curtain: an invisible protective screen
With the AJAX MotionProtect Curtain, authorized persons, residents and pets can move freely indoors, while the perimeter of the building is still effectively protected. The curtain motion detector projects an invisible curtain with a length of up to 15 meters. If it registers an attempted break-in or tampering when someone steps through the curtain or tampers with the MotionProtect Curtain without authorization, it triggers an alarm and notifies the security service. The motion detector is able to transmit alarms to the AJAX Hub, the control center of the AJAX alarm system, via radio communication at a distance of up to 1,700 meters.
Powerful technology with PIR sensors
The sophisticated optical system of the AJAX MotionProtect Curtain consists of two infrared sensors (PIR sensors) and a multi-surface mirror. These enable the motion detector to register twice as much information about events in the field of vision and to react immediately to intruders as soon as they touch the "invisible curtain". Thanks to the powerful pre-installed CR123A battery, the AJAX MotionProtect Curtain is immediately ready for use and can function for up to three years. As it can also be used at temperatures as low as -10° C, the curtain detector is also suitable for installation in less exposed outdoor areas.
