The AJAX DoorProtect Plus window and door opening detector offers an intelligent additional feature compared to the DoorProtect, the basic version of the AJAX wireless opening detector: it is also able to protect windows, skylights and balcony doors that are tilted for ventilation. This is possible thanks to an accelerometer that registers not only impacts and vibrations but also changes in the vertical angle of inclination. As soon as unauthorized persons tamper with the window or door, DoorProtect Plus sends an alarm signal to the AJAX Hub via the wireless connection. The magnetic field between the detector and magnetic module registers any tampering, whereupon the high-quality reed switch triggers an alarm signal. This functionality is unique in Europe. When residents return home, they can deactivate the protection mechanism with a single click.
